Writing As I Write

Around 1998, I had a wonderful idea for a novel. An epic novel, working title "HOS". Since then, I've struggled with everything from opening chapters to endings, back stories to future actions. In then past, I've probably cried over it for two years, done research for three, sought the input and inspiration of a dozen or more people, and have written exactly zero pages. I started this blog to try and work through my mental road blocks and at least write something while I try to write.

{ 23 } Are You There Readers? It's Me, Writer.

As of late, I've been busy and sick. Mostly busy, which I'm sure lead to my dumb head cold. That and winter is quickly approaching.

Blarg.

I have not been writing as I should be. No, I found "Billy", considered it a small victory, and haven't progressed. I have, however:

Read a ton of Ann Rule books,
Built some Ikea furnature,
Set up a FaceBook page for this blog.

Oh, what? You didn't notice? Maybe that's because you're a terrible friend. Find it on the FB or click the "Like" button on the right and you'll get the (infrequent) updates I post.

It helps me stay motivated when you're looking over my shoulder.
